Terms of rental, residence and cancellations

RENTAL

1. LEGISLATION APPLICABLE

The following rules expand, transcribe and complete the Royal Order number 27 of the 25th March 1988 and the Ministerial Order of the 14th March 1988 (BOE 22.04.88). In the matters not regulated by the following General Conditions the above mentioned orders are to be applied.

2. HANDLING

The technical handling of the rental will be carried out by DREAM IBIZA scp tourist agency, acting as a mediator, TIN (J:55606347) and registered office address at Josep Porter 5 Casa, 43400 Montblanc Tarragona, which acts as an intermediary agency between owners and customers.

3. PRICE

On the web pages you will find the prices belonging to the respective offer, depending on season and capacity. Listed prices are set according to weekly rates for holiday houses. Apartments, country hotels, agritourism and car hire prices are specified on day/night.
Displayed prices of dwellings and acommodation, hotels, agritourism and car rental are inclusive of VAT.
The Organization reserves the right to alter the prices offered by possible changes of currency.

4. RESERVATIONS

When reserving the property, the client is to pay 40% of the total rental price. The reservation is not valid unless this payment of the deposit is made.
The remaining balance is to be paid at least 21 days prior to the date of arrival. In case this is not done, the reservation will be cancelled.
In case the reservation is made 20 days or less prior to the date of arrival the client is to pay the full amount of the renting price.
Once the deposit payment of 40% is made and reconfirmed by DREAM-IBIZA.scp. the reservation is considered valid. In case of cancellation, the rules of Section III, paragraph 2. are to be applied.

5. SUPPLEMENTS

Occasionally, a property can carry a series of independent supplements included in the weekly rental price and must be paid directly to the rental property at the beginning or end of the stay.
These supplements, final cleaning, use of telephone, heating and electricity are recorded before to departure and the approximate cost is specified.

6. SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit is required to begin the stay. The amount of this security deposit is determined by the “Category” and “Quality” of the property, in direct relation to the weekly rental price.
The deposit that will be given to the representative of the place, will be refunded in full upon departure, any time there have not been defects or damages in the property caused by misuse or carelessness of the customers.
Before paying the deposit, it is advisable to demand an inventory of the property or, in its defect, to check the endowment. In case of damage or missing items (which are present in the inventory) should be notified within 48 hours.

 

RESIDENCE

1. PRESENTATION

As a general rule the rooms can be occupied from 3 p.m. onwards on the day of arrival. The checkout is to be before 11 a.m. on the day of departure.

It is essential to communicate the time of arrival and departure, as well as the medium used (plane or boat), before your arrival to the island to be able to accompany you to the chosen rural accommodation (houses). The hours of attention and support are from 9:00 h to 21:30h from Monday to Sunday. Out of this schedule it is essential that the houses have been paid in full at least 15 days before the day of arrival to send a detailed map of how to access the properties and indicating where to collect the keys. The next morning a representative will pass by the house to formalize the delivery of the deposit – bond and to hand over information about the island.

2. DOCUMENTATION

Once the reservation has been made the client will receive a booking confirmation voucher. As soon as the full rental has been paid the client will receive a voucher indicating the full payment. The client will be met at his/her arrival in Ibiza (airport or port). Normally the client will be accompanied to the property, but in case this does not occur, he/she will be given an illustrated map in order to find the property without any problem.

 

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

1. ALTERATIONS

DREAM-IBIZA scp. reserves the right to substitute the reserved property by another one of similar characteristics and situation due to force majeure for which DREAM-IBIZA scp. can not be made responsible.

If you do not accept the offered alternatives, DREAM-IBIZA scp. refunds the paid amount to the customer.

2. CANCELLATION

Customers may cancel the services requested or contracted at any time, with the right to a total refund of any payments made, except the amount corresponding to the insurance, if the cancellation is due to justifiable cause which must be verified with accredited documentation.

If the cancellation is for reasons excluded from insurance cover or without documented, the cancellations detailed below will apply:

For all cancellations, a handling fee of a minimum of 30 € will be charged.

The above mentioned percentages are based on the total amount of the stipulated rental price.

3. CURTAILMENTS

Should a rental client decide to cut short their stay without good cause or justification that would be covered by holiday insurance (refund of holiday) and without supporting documentation, there would be no reimbursement either of the whole or part of the cost of the reservation.

If the curtailment is for a justifiable reason and would be covered by holiday insurance the client should refer to the insurance company’s terms and conditions.

4. ANOMALIES OR DEFIENCIAS

The irregularities and/or shortcomings the client may find in the rented property are to be communicated as soon as possible and during the client’s stay, to the local agency, to the representative of the property or to DREAM-IBIZA scp. by phone or dreamibizavip@gmail.com.

DREAM-IBIZA scp. will promptly solve any abnormality or deficiency and even change the property in case the deficiencies in the first property are proved to be insurmountable.

Complaints that take place after the client has left the property will not be attended as they lack the fundamental basis of the reclamation.
